Why the photographer matters most
On a beach elopement, the photos are the lasting record of the day. A photographer who knows the light, the tides and the best corners of Puerto Vallarta saves time and gets natural images.
Styles you can ask for
- Documentary: candid moments as they happen
- Editorial: posed, polished portraits with direction
- Romantic: golden-hour light, silhouettes and detail shots
- Mix: a bit of everything, which is what most couples want
Coverage and timing
For an elopement, one to two hours around the ceremony is usually enough. Golden hour, the hour before sunset, gives warm light and softer shadows. We plan the ceremony so the portraits catch it.
Questions to ask any photographer
- How many hours and how many edited photos are included?
- When will I receive the gallery and in what format?
- Do you have experience with beach light and wind?
- Can I see a full wedding gallery, not just highlights?
- What happens if the weather changes?
